Ok, so I'm looking into changing where we have practices. The reason we were doing them in Brandon was because it was a centrally located. Now I'm looking at our numbers and where the players are, so here's the breakdown.
Brandon:
4 Players, Two have never made a practice and one has been to one.
Valrico/Plant City:
2 Players, One has not made any practices.
Lakeland:
Two Players, Neither have made a practice.
Lutz/Wesley Chapel
5 Players, Three have showed up, One has not and One is a new player.
3 others that may be playing but not sure where they are from.
Which leads to the next part, I think that if everyone looks at the site and responds to the invites, we'll have a much better turnout. I know people from Wesley Chapel don't want to drive to Brandon and one person show up and the same goes for guys in Brandon driving to New Tampa. So if we can commit to checking the invite and responding to it, we'll be in a better shape.
With all that said voice your opinion on it. I'm thinking of New Tampa right off of I-75 and Bruce B Downs behind USSA for practices.

Maybe another new guy
Hows it think I got another guy for the team. TJ the perfect mold of a defenseman: about 6'4" -6'5" 280-290 lbs. Him paired with Scott and we got a big defense line forming. The only problem is they both are on B shift.

Newly Formed LaCrosse Team
This is the blogging home of the Hillsborough County Fire and Rescue LaCrosse Team.
Thanks for visiting, images and additional information will be updated regularly. If you are a team mate, Email Don and we can get you set-up to add to this blog! We are currently looking for local sponsors to assist in getting things rolling.
Don and I met up this Sunday morning for a short practice. We will try to nail down some regular times for practices and other gatherings. I'll take photos of everyone the next time we meet. Names and faces are great to have on the blog so everyone knows, who's-who.
